Cleartrade Technology

Cleartrade Exchange hosts a state-of-the-art electronic Exchange platform for trading OTC cleared commodity derivatives contracts. Central to the Cleartrade Platform is the Cleartrade Exchange screen. The trading screen is tailored for use by busy broking desks looking to disseminate orders and spreads across markets and multiple locations. The Cleartrade Exchange screen contains fast and easy order execution functions as well as a Block trading facility for registration or pre-matched trades.

Brokers can execute firm and implied outrights and spreads in the FFA, Iron ore and Fertilizer markets. Brokers wishing to make use of independent software vendors (ISVs) can connect their trading systems to the Cleartrade API for direct connection to the Cleartrade Credit Matrix and achieve straight-through-processing on the same basis as those using the Cleartrade Exchange screen.

All participants will be able to connect to the Exchange platform through multiple forms of connectivity such as leased lines, dial-up, multi-protocol label switching, internet either using the Cleartrade Exchange client software provided by the Exchange or front ends developed by Independent Software Vendors(ISVs) .
